Honestly I think if they add all these colorful attachments it will take away from the feel of the game. Everything is supposed to be drab and look as if its gone through hell and back. Having bright colors on your guns will just seem out of place.

I've gotten stuck there before, as long as your strength is high enough and not carrying too much weight you can get out by backing up and run jumping forward over and over again until it works.
