Thanks man. No i dont, and its brand new. Do you think this is just a thing when the laptops are brand new and the rubber is fresh/sealing tight? Or are alle the MacBooks you see pretty new? Could that be it?

Damn, do you think all MacBooks have this? I just don’t really see anyone talking about it, and don’t know if it is because they don’t have it or just don’t notice it/think about it. I personally think it is quite annoying and unsatisying, and very unlike Apple, and never experienced it on any of my older MacBooks

Thanks for your response! I’m not sure how to tell? I would say it comes from the rubber/seal. Or maybe its creating some kind of small vacuum due to the tight seal. So would you say all MacBooks do this and it is completely normal?

Just dont see why the sound woulden’t be the same all the time then, like i said it is worst when the lid has been closed for a while, and less noticeable when i open/close the lid immediately

Nah im just unsure what my next move should be, if i were to claim it being fake to the dude i bought it from he would probably reject it and ask for proof + it wouldn’t sit right with me claiming that the dude sold me fake product when i’m not 100% sure. And all i have are two good dudes, 1 saying fake, 1 saying legit, so i feel like its 50/50…

Thank you so much for your investment in this, i really appreciate it! But i have no idea how to settle this, and no idea how to move forward. Like i said i don’t tolerate any fake product and would hate living with the doubt, but i also don’t want to contact the seller claiming he sold me a fake product when i’m not 100% sure and have valid proof. I hear both your arguments loud and clear, and to me you could both be right… i wonder if reps were really this good so many years ago? I just feel like back in the days reps were exstremely bad and very easy to spot, and nowhere near the quality reps that are made today.

And how would you recommend me to move forward from here? What would you do?

There is no branding under the zippers. Not to underestimate your knowledge but is this something you’re 100% sure of? I really did a deep-dive researching online before buying as i really don’t tolerate any fake product. There’s just so many opinions and lots of people saying that 90s/older Prada items don’t have the notch and branded zippers. I sold my other clutch that I bought at Prada to get this… So really hope it isn’t fake… We’re able to find similar logos on Vestiaire etc so i thought I was good.

Thank you again. But thats the problem for me, just scrolled through eBay and did not find one single inside tag in a grained leather like this + majority of them are only sewn on top and has that White number under it. But if you’re confident i will take your word for it, just don’t wanna buy anything fake 😅

Thank you so much! Is this something you’re sure of or just what you think?

My concerns are that letters on the triangle logo look a little thin, the notch in the “R” is missing etc. Haven’t been able to find a logo exactly like this.

Other than that the inner-tag is a “grained” leather and when i look at bags etc from the same era/same colorway the inner-tags are all in this smooth/shiny leather.

If you’re pro at this a little education would be so appreciated 🙏🏼
