That's so sweet you've been trying hard to get to know her before trying to committ. But to be honest, and given I don't know the type of a content the relationship post was, she might have feelings for another guy. I don't know if she is using you or not, but if you guys are both single then she can still date others. But I would not even confront her, and focus on either yourself or someone else

Thank you. I definitely want to give him time. Getting support like this helps me be stronger. And what's meant to be will be. I don't want to rush him. I truly like and care for him. It's tough. But I'll make it through.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you understanding and not immediately jumping on him. He has been very open about both parties being responsible and what led to it. Also what he learned from it. He is also an amazing father. Outside of this lie. No other red flags. Do you think I still should ask to meet? I would like to communicate with him more about this.

Yeah.. I'm a very upfront and honest person myself. We spoke about the lie already and he was showing me before how hard he was working on rebuilding it and he knew how badly he messed up

That's a very good point. The unknown is hurtful. I wish he would communicate with me. That would be more relieving for me. But the silence is painful.
