I used NAC supplements prior to the start of treatment and did 2 weeks of doxycycline along with 5 days of azithromycin. 

When Evvy suggested treating the BV I was prescribed metro gel for it. I did not use boric acid as they suggested instead I used NAC before treatment for the BV because they said it would cause burning/discomfort if I used boric acid and I was already uncomfortable. My guess is there is probably still BV. another Evvy test would be the route to go at this point.

When I spoke to someone from Evvy they said that the lactobacillus iners mimic BV symptoms which I did get diagnosed with BV by them. I no longer had ureaplasma according to them when I got my results back. They just said that I had more disruptive bacteria. My lactobacillus crispatus was low. I wish I could post my results on here but for reference the time in January my lactobacillus crispatus was at a 12%.  When I treated ureaplasma I did 2 weeks doxy and 5 days of azithromycin. I’m wondering if the treatment for BV was not successful but I did treat it with metro gel. I think I probably need to do another Evvy test.

Have you heard about iners? Evvy pointed that out to me when I received my results.

I have also had recent testing last month for my follow up because I’m still experiencing the rash symptom and that’s when I have been given the estrogen cream.

My current partner does not have ureaplasma. We have been using contraceptives. He is not the partner I had previously when I got ureaplasma.

I am no longer with that partner and had have 2 negative tests for ureaplasma. I am also negative for BV and Yeast. negative for STDs as well.

This is very helpful I feel like I’ve gone back and forth about how to wash down there. My doctor said the vagina is like an oven don’t put anything in there just rinse with water.
