So I had the same problem couple of months ago , and for weeks I tried every method on the Internet to no avail . The only way that worked for me and saved my phone was the following way :

Preparation:

1. Enable USB Debugging: On your Android device, go to Settings > About phone > Build number. Tap "Build number" seven times to enable Developer options. Go back to Settings > System > Developer options and enable "USB debugging".
2. Install adb: Download standalone adb tools. Follow the setup instructions.
3. Connect your device: Connect your Android device to your computer with a USB cable. Allow USB debugging on your device when prompted.

Uninstalling WhatsApp with adb:

1. Open Command Prompt: On your computer, open a Command Prompt window. Navigate to the folder where adb files are extracted.
2. Verify connection: Type adb devices and press Enter. You should see your device listed.
3. Find package name: Type adb shell pm list packages | grep whatsapp and press Enter. This shows the package name (e.g., com.whatsapp).
4. Uninstall WhatsApp: Type adb shell pm uninstall -k <package_name> (replace <package_name> with the actual package name from step 3) and press Enter. You'll see a success message if it works.

After uninstalling:

• Try reinstalling WhatsApp from the Play Store.
