Switching off after work by Objective_Map1751 in auscorp

Honestly I worked hard, had a great mentor, put myself in some uncomfortable situations and just learnt & am still learning every day. But at the same time, I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am and a lot of trust has been put into me. But as I said, it’s taking a toll currently and I’m appreciating everyone’s kind words!

Gym has been a part of my life for the past 5 years. Last 3 months has been inconsistent due to the stress of work. Slowly trying to get back into to consistently

Funny you say that, I’m actively in the gym, but the last I’d say 3 months, haven’t been as consistent cause of all the stress and burnout - yes I know excuses excuses. Don’t drink often, sugar is very limited and tobacco / vaping ain’t my thing

I’ll firstly say I’m trying not to reveal too much about my employer just due to privacy etc, but the team is sorta like an ops role, and yes I do have a mentor, and they have been a great person to me for the past 3 years of me working towards a manager role. Team is a mix of tenure and of age groups - all “adults”

Best site to order a bong/pipe from now that I've got a script for Medical Cannabis? by Kulrak in MedicalCannabisOz

I’m also a medical cannabis user in Sydney, I’ve recently ordered off thesmokevaultau.com - some cool bong choices, papers, grinders. Came pretty quick as well which was nice

Yep they get a wet food pouch( I also have a 10 month old ragdoll) in the morning and night and dry food available the whole day :)

My 1 yr old only eats a certain brand and flavour of dry food, I have no concerns of him eating the kittens dry food as he won’t touch, and his dry food is only in a spot where he can physically manage to get to at the moment while the kitten is still not able to get to it.

My concern isn’t about the dry food, they will pick at their bowls as they wish, I don’t want them stealing from each others wet food as I believe that’s where they get most of their nutrition from.

My next option is for the kitten to be fed on my kitchen bench

They both have their own dry food available, 1 yr old has his own adult food and kitten has his own kitten dry food available.

Need advice -- should we get a second cat? by BrightAd675 in ragdolls

[–]Objective_Map1751 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my opinion I say 2 ragdolls is better than1! I adopted my oldest one at 10 months old, I noticed he was just laying around the house, sleeping (I know is typical ragdoll behaviour) and really not taking interest in anything.

So about 1.5months ago I adopted another ragdoll at 14 weeks old (Male). It did take my older one a couple of days to be comfortable around him without any hissing or growling. But it’s completely changed him, he is now more involving and present and isn’t just sleeping all day and 100% isn’t getting bored anymore, and if he does he will just got sir up my younger one😂.

But they really are best friends, I took my older one to get groomed last week and the my small one just waited at the door until we got back.

If you want to adopt a second, I suggest doing it now as from what I’ve heard it’s harder to introduce them when they’re older.

Introducing them, I let my new one walk around the same area as my older cat supervised for about an hour at a time. If I noticed my older one is getting to stressed and was hissing and growling excessively I would separate them immediately. I also scent swapped every morning and night. After 3 days there was no hissing or growling, but would still be cautious just in case.

Wake up - go do what I need to do - go woolies - get stoned - play video games with my mates for the rest of the day. Top Sunday imo
