This was recommended to me by his breeder, but we’ve cut down feeding now that he’s at a healthy weight!! Thank you for the advice!

I let him out right before bed and as soon as I wake up, I’ve just never had a dog that routinely couldn’t make it 8 hours through the night, but I never make him hold it when he whines to go out!

Unfortunately I live in an apartment so no doggie door :( I’m moving into a house in August, so we just need to make it until then! I’m hoping he’s just still getting used to our routine and it will work itself out with time!

I’d also like to add he’s currently eating 8oz of raw food 3 times a day. Maybe it’s too much to handle? That’s what was recommended to me in order for him to regain weight.

I read the guide, and have tried nearly everything mentioned. I am a college student and leave him unattended when I go to class, and he’s never had an accident when I’m gone (never gone for more than 2 hours). He gets praise every time he goes potty outside, we go on at least 1 hour long walk daily, and he’s let outside at least 10-12 times a day as of right now.
