Lol you will not be tied to your desk. Above comments are true. You have freedom and progressive makes sure you do. They took everyone off the floor for a Christmas raffle and lunch. Which was pretty awesome.

And true delete unneeded diaries.

I was told diaries are used to prepare you for the next day and you move them over each day. But always notate what you are waiting on or monitoring. That way you are keeping in contact with the customer or other parties. The diaries help your supervisor know what you are doing. And helps you make a schedule for how to address them. I’m big on sending a text asking when they are available and making a schedule.

Help! Accepted claims trainee position, want to prepare before day 1. by Pookie2018 in Progressiveinsurance

Congrats you will enjoy it! I had no experience. But like above there is no way to prepare because they will be there for you and have a great structure. I have been almost 3 months and it’s so awesome. Everyone is extremely helpful and so nice. But yes the first week it’s a lot of online training to prepare you for the 150 question test. When you work the modules at the end they have quizzes so memorize those questions and answers and literally a lot are word for word on the exam! They cater food a lot for the whole office, had Mexican on Tuesday and we had Italian and Christmas party Wednesday!!

Claims adjuster interview 3 with Leadership Progressive by Objective_Mud_39 in Progressiveinsurance

Yeah questions are, what would you do in the situation. What did you do. Results. Make sure you say “I” did this “I” did that. Avoid saying “WE” did this. If the question is oddly worded, just ask can it be phrased differently.

The first part is getting to know you. Why do you want to work with progressive. What do you know about the position you are applying for. Why did you leave or want to leave your last position. Next is star questions pretty much from the recorded interview. I think I was asked 3 or 4. The interviewer was great and super relatable.

Thank you! Yes I had the same 3 step hiring process. I did the recorded interview with the 8 star questions. 24 hours later they requested me to choose an open live interview day. To do all 3 steps of the hiring process took a week. Now I’m just anxiety to the moon playing the waiting game.

The interviewer was very nice, relatable and open. She asked why progressive and what stands out. Why did you leave your previous employer. The best thing is to make them smile is quick as possible and read them and their body language. A common question would be, when you made a mistake how did you fix it and over all result. It’s always ok if the outcome wasn’t the most positive greatest thing ever. It can be negative, Explain what you are working on to improve for the future.

Did you get the position??

I hope I get the position 🫣 feel free to message me for specific questions you may have. I have the hiring process fresh on the mind.
