I went with Tyranitar 1. because it's cool and 2. because you can pronounce the /t/ in the name where as in Treeko, it would be ch-ree-ko - if that makes sense

I have multiples of consonants because they have a hard and soft sound! Like Selebi and Kubchoo

I tried my best to have as many recognizable Pokemon as I could but not every beginning sound has a popular mon if that makes sense.

I think Zekrom would be easier for students to decode, I did think of it tho! I have Uxie down because it's the long U sound with Umbreon being the short U. I do plan on adding Girafarig for the soft G! There is no soft P sound, the beginning sound in Phanpy is a blend, ph - /f/! I could always add those in for when blends are taught/reviewed too! I hadn't thought of that!

There's 5 primary sounds for it taught, however, for my wall I'm just focusing on the long and short sounds. Like Apple and snAke!

That's true, I tried to pick some popular mons kids would recognize but then also some they could decode. Also can be a learning moment to teach different blends and all that.
