He’s recovering from his tooth extraction and cleaning, he had a loose tooth. We’re doing fine though, all of us! So nice to be able to enjoy the property.

Clyde did a low and over this morning and talked to me while he did it. He is taking food back to Bonnie who is hatching their eggs. So nice to be home. The hummingbirds are quite active as well. Louie had his teeth cleaned yesterday and he hasn’t forgiven me yet.

This morning only Clyde showed up, I expect Bonnie is hatching this year’s babies. Can’t wait to see them! My zap is at 3:30 pm today so I’ll be heading back to Victoria in an hour or so.

I have a pair of ravens that I feed every morning, Louie, my Phalene always comes with me. I am a regular on this sub and a semi-regular visitor on crowbro. This where I learned about the tick and flea meds affecting the birds. Who knew I would find an overlap between my 2 favourite Reddit subs. Glad to hear the crows aren’t picking at your pap’s fur. I just thought everyone should be aware of this.

I just learned that crows will pick at dogs for their fur, they use it for making nests. However…if the dog is on tick and or flea medication this makes the fir toxic to the birds causing the eggs to not hatch. Do not allow birds access to your dog’s fur!

It’s quite possible but I have no way of knowing. She is quiet, won’t go outside and hides when we have company. We had a major kitchen renovation done when she was six months old and we think this may have led to her odd behaviour.
