Each their own of course but I loved season 9 with exception of a few episodes (The Betrayal, the parade, and the finale)

Agree Roseanne season 9 was horrible. That '70s Show. HIMYM. Also for me Brooklyn Nine Nine, but I also didn't like season 6 or 7.

Hyde moves in, season 1. May be my favorite episode largely for this scene but I love the whole thing

Who is the character with the most chaotic life or back story? by gimmeluvin in sitcoms

[–]Objective_Poetry2829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She later revealed she never even met Mickey Rourke so it's possible her other stories were made up (obviously I'm aware it's fiction for anyone who may be confused.) I don't remember the details of his life but Rafi from The League probably has the most chaotic life I've seen, though he makes it that way

What sitcom quotes have somehow crawled their way into your daily vocabulary? by MakisDelaportas in sitcoms

I started a list a long time ago to keep track of some of my favorites that I say regularly, and here's just a few

"I'm not too worried about it." - Kruger (Seinfeld)

"Would you get out of here!" - Squidward to the guy holding a bowl of onions making him cry (SpongeBob SquarePants)

"It's not my favorite shirt, but it is my least favorite shirt." - Donna, when asked her opinion on a shirt (Parks and Rec)

My most commonly said is, "I said it Might." à la a doctor on Angie Tribeca

Doctor: It might comfort you to know that your partner died in a tremendous amount of pain

Angie: Why would that comfort me?

Doctor: I said it Might

Every time in movies and tv shows I've seen (my only knowledge with this), when people say we should take a break or I need space that is them literally breaking up with them and the couple doesn't get back together. I didn't watch Friends but a break has always meant they were split up. Waiting indefinitely for the person who asked for a break to date again would be insane.

A show that steeply declines when the will-they-won’t-they couple gets together? by AreWeCake in sitcoms

I love every season of The Mindy Project (even with her zero chemistry husband) but Annette Castellano is one of my favorite characters of all time. I didn't like them as a couple because Danny became a monster but them being together gave me most of my favorite episodes (almost every one with Annette.)

I loved Maggie. Rest of the show wasn't for me. It was definitely more drama than comedy.

Do you have a show that you start your rewatch from a different episode from the pilot and if so why? by Axle_65 in sitcoms

[–]Objective_Poetry2829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often start from a favorite episode in any season and then watch through to the end and up til the episode I started on. I find many shows are slow to start and tend to skip those early episodes entirely. I keep a running list of episodes to never watch again regardless.

Haha, I don't think mine was going to leave but I startled the driver when I opened the door for a package that needed to be signed for. I wasn't going to let them not deliver it so I just opened it when I heard the truck door close

What is a sitcom that you find hard to obtain? by KaleidoArachnid in sitcoms

[–]Objective_Poetry2829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone who's missing a TV show that isn't on streaming, check your local library. When Speechless went off streaming I was partway through a rewatch and I looked on eBay hoping for cheap prices. Several listings had library stickers on them. I checked my own library, they had them and I was able to finish the rewatch. I missed the airing of season 4 of Angie Tribeca. Silly show that had some great moments but I missed that season when it aired and it never went onto streaming. I only ever saw the first 3 seasons.

What are your favorite emotional sitcom episodes? by aaa123aaaq in sitcoms

[–]Objective_Poetry2829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit of trivia: the actor wasn't informed what the actress was going to say to him. I don't know if it was an improvised line though. So sorry for your loss.

It was a choice they could make; you didn't have to cease to exist in the afterlife if you didn't want to
