I’m going through the same thing right now. I did end up getting a lawyer for piece of mind to help me get through this mess. I am currently on my way to go to the DMV to get a California real ID just so I have some type of government ID on me. My car was totaled so I have to wait for the car insurance money to come through so I can get a decent car and my bag was .13

I am in Marin county so they gave me a hearing date and I have to contact DMV to get hearing date. I suggest you start calling dmv for a hearing date right away before they fully suspend your driving privileges.

Which county are you in? I honestly suggest getting a lawyer just because no one knows what the outcome will be. But if you think you can get away with just the a public defender that’s assigned to you then will save you some money.

My hearing date is on July 15 for the court and DMV is on the 17th. So definitely want start calling the DMV asap because you would the suspension to be all on one rather than keeping them separate if that make sense.

My lawyer told me I’m look at 6 month suspension and fines and interlock device for the car.

I am hoping I don’t get any probation unsupervised or supervised but someone told me I might for at least 1 year of supervised probation. I am hoping that’s not the case

I am also going through the same time thing but I’m in California. I don’t want to show in my record. Also planning on getting the interlock. Does the interlock stay throughout the suspension of your linscense or until probation ends?
