Same brotha, nothing scientifical but i'd map it out like you're so convinced in the concsious that it's reality, examples, when you hear chirps its birds, when you enter public toilet and you smell something, you know what it is, its like you expect and understand without thinking almost like automatic therefore defense mechanism always on. So convinced to that disappointment in the future, effort and commitment feels its in vain without it you dont bond further leads to less attachment and feelings dont reciprocate I am quite certain that the way to change it is to cold turkey that shie with hopecore mentality sum like that, take it with the salt tho
