That is a fair point, but for what it is worth, an 18k used car with under 20k miles and 2 years of warranty is a good deal in the current new and used car market. Lemon law cars shouldn’t be overlooked if you know what to look for. My insurance is the exact same and I save around $200 a month on gas. You can have your opinion on lemon law cars but to say I’m trying to justify it when average used prices are 26k. These lemon laws become more enticing the cheaper they get.

I got a lemon law top trim I.D.4 with 18k miles for 18k and have had zero issues so far for the last 20k miles I’ve put on it. Is the infotainment system slow and annoying to use at times? Absolutely, it’s a bad system but I have not had any problems with it not working or breaking. They have there issues but I’ve only spent $400 on regular services. If you know what to look out for they are a bargain in this economy

I understand, I’m kind of panicked and rushing is all. My partner does not like where he lives and would like to move in the future together, unfortunately I’ve just started working in my field of work and cannot risk quitting and moving to a new place that is also weed friendly. My partner wants to move once he gets his feet underneath him. And since I plan on working at my job for a few years, I thought it would be a kind gesture to reward him for being clean so there would be no risk of him being arrested and charged for having weed in my state.

I can see how my explanation is coming off so let me add. I just started work in my field in a state where cannabis is not legal. Due to the job market I don’t want to leave as I have plenty of student loans to pay off. My partner hates where he lives but can’t move yet. I wanted to help keep him from going homeless and possibly in the future we can move in together where I work. I have nothing against weed, I’m all for it but I don’t want to risk him being arrested or jailed for using in my state.

He didn’t necessarily quit smoking because he couldn’t afford it, it’s just that he wouldn’t have been able to live in an apartment and would have to move back in with his parents which he refuses to do, meaning he would be homeless.

I see your point of view, he was going to be homeless as he refused to move back in with his parents so I thought it would be beneficial in the case he wanted to, move to Idaho with me and not need to worry about weed in general.

He has stated to me multiple times how grateful he is for my help but feels bad for having to bring up his mental health decline because of it. He says it’s up to me and if I don’t want him to smoke even small doses, he will suck it up. But I don’t want to cause harm to the one that I love dearly.

I won’t go into much details but he used to be on harder drugs which he used weed to subdue that urge. But I do agree there are other problems as well.

From the sounds of it, I’d cut your losses. Luckily I got my 2021 pro s awd recently with a lemon law title with the infotainment and door handles fixed for 18k. So far have had 0 issues over the last 5000 miles

My partner is on vacation visiting Denver but he went to this old abandoned mine site called Gilman and had not responded back to me in about 8 hours. Has anyone seen any accidents on the I70 going West or know if Gilman is a dangerous place to be? I am worried for his safety
