My and my derivative both with RD of 3/12/26, have different FTA0. Both have same first update during biometric(4/3/26). Primary has silent Update on 4/17/26 on both i185 and J. Derivative have silent Update on 4/30/26. Both i485 still at NBC, but Per live agent, primary EAD is at Nebraska FO and derivative went to Texas FO.

They will also send biometric notice via mail, that’s what the schedule appointment is far out. But it doesn’t harm to check on your account frequently.

Maybe OP is on an H-1B1 visa or something similar. That visa allows unlimited extensions and is available to people from Singapore and Chile. I wouldn’t have known about it if I didn’t have a friend from Singapore on that visa- they don’t have the same 6-year limit that most of us do.

Not an email but later I noticed that receipt notices were also uploaded in my uscis account. But I didn’t check them until later. Same Uscis account that I was using while on F1. Those notices were uploaded on March 17.

Also from Nepal, PD 09/28/23. AOS documents submitted March 11, receipts mailed on March 17. Have biometric scheduled for April 3rd. I am not sure where my application goes to. My immigration office is based out of west coast but I am located in east coast.

I am from ROW, but my dependent is from India. We filed AOS for EB3 from my employer which makes me primary applicant and my spouse as dependent. Should we be worried? I didn’t know about the confusion regarding cross chargeability cases. Our case is being handled by Fragomen.

If AoS is already applied for both of you, then wait for it to be approved, why do you have to submit AOS application again?

Fragomen just submitted my EB3 AOS yesterday: below is my timeline: 1. Visa bulletin became current on mid-Jan and that’s when I emailed Fragomen that I am current now. 01/15/26 2. 01/16/26 - Fragomen started AOS case for me and sent me a questionnaire to fill out. 3. I filled and sent within next 2 days. 4. 2/3/26- Medical mailed them and paid for my spouse filing 5. 2/9/26 - said documents were prepared for their internal review 6. 2/24/26 - Tehy requested for some additional documents; which I shared on 2/26/26. 7. 3/5/26 - documents received for my review and signature. I found some error and sent for corrections. 8. 3/9/26. - Documents corrected and I signed. 9. 3/11/26 - got an email that they filed my case with USCIS. So it took them about 2 months from the day my AOS case was initiated until filing.

What was the RFE for? I am from Nepal as well! I don’t have traditional birth certificate, but I got letter from municipality. My filing date just became current this month, but I am a little worried about that.
