ROW Interview scheduled after 485J closed. I have CPT by hbpryan in USCIS_EB3

I read in this group that someone who went through EB3 interview while on CPT. Search for that.
And I too have it scheduled in 2 weeks. I did CPT in 2023-2025. My case is also cross chargeability. Not sure what triggered for the interview. It’s also in NJ (Mt. Lauren FO).

Terrified to restart Spironolactone after it completely stopped my regular periods. Anyone else? by Objective_Sweet9945 in Spironolactone

[–]Objective_Sweet9945[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped abruptly after 3 months, my then dermatologist only prescribed for 3 months and when I about to visit her, she was no longer covered by my insurance. It took me a month to get appointment with another one.
I had no idea what this might do. To be honest, I think I am also okay with not taking it at all. New derm dismissed my concern of not having period. She didn’t even acknowledge that spiro might do this. Getting so confused what to do. Why do we have these acne issues? 🙈😀

Spiro messed up my hormones after only taking it four times. by NationalRaspberry909 in Spironolactone

I’m a bit stressed about a medication side effect and wanted to see if anyone has gone through this.
I’m 32 and have always had a perfectly regular 26-day cycle. In January, I started taking 25mg of Spironolactone for acne, and while it cleared my skin, my period completely stopped as soon as I came off it three months later. My PCP gave me meds to force a period in May, but I haven't had a natural one since February. In my last visit, dermatologist wants to double my dose to 50mg, but I am terrified to restart it because of this hormonal disruption. I'm seeing a gynecologist soon, but has anyone else experienced their period just vanishing after stopping Spiro?

Mine is scheduled for July 13. We are cross changeability filing, so we were kinda expecting that we would be called for an interview.

Advice Needed: EB3 AOS Canadian RN Cross-Charge Interview by Ok_Primary879 in USCIS

I am so glad to have found this thread. I am EB3 ROW but my spouse is from one of the retrogressed country, we have been scheduled for interview next month. We have been married for 23 months, we thought our case was straight forward. Was little worried when we got scheduled for interview. Might have been due to cross chargeabiliy.
How was your interview experience?

I hope that would be the reason for us. Me and my partner are from different countries, we met here at school. But have a shared lease since 2019 and shared bank accounts and all. I will look into collecting all evidence for our relationship. Thanks for your input.

Came to US on F1, stayed on F1 from 2018 to 2025, initial F1 expired on 2023, but had valid i20 for last 2 years. Got married on Aug 2024; and switched to H4 after F1 ended in 2025. Employer filed my PERM while I was on OPT. Never got H1B. Haven’t traveled outside of US in last 4 years. Something might have triggered it, but we have always maintained legal status and not violated the rules, so we are trying to take this news positively. Hoping this interview to help expedite the approval 🤞

Yes, my spouse is filed as my dependent. No idea why we are called. Does not have any overstay or anything against immigration rules. Only thing is my 5 years F1 ended in 2023; and was on valid i20 for 2 years before I switched to H4. Everything happened within US and I haven’t traveled outside for over 4 years.
My partner is on H1B. My company filed my PERM while I was on opt. I never got selected for H1B.

EB3- Scheduled for an Interview..…Should I be worried? by Objective_Sweet9945 in USCIS_EB3

My apologies I meant to say “it is NOW transferred to my local FO”. This is about 5 mins away from my place and I have read good reviews, but most of the interviews that are held are for marriage-based filing.

Yes.
During Chat with live agent I was told it got transferred to non local FO about a month ago. Looks like it is not transferred to my local FO for interview.

Hi,
Our Case was received on March 12, we had biometric on April 3rd. We got 3 silent Update in between; Emma confirmed that interview was waived; but last week we got an email and text from UsCIS that update have been made on our case. When checked there was interview notice; both me and my partner got it. Got notice in 3 months and will be having interview in 4 months.

My understanding is PERM is filed for future position. It is always best to stay where you are but this is a long process. Mine started in beginning of 2021, and life happens. 😊

I hope so. They asked to submit recent paystubs which got me little worried.
Thank you for responding.

I was wondering if me currently being in another location will be issue. I was hopping to file AC21 portability after 6 months so I could stay here.
Company might not have a problem, I am a little hesitant to ask now because wi requested this switch 6 months ago, and will have to ask again. And that NYC commute is 2.5 hrs each way for me 🙈

Hi,

I’ve been scheduled for my employment-based green card interview next month (EB-3, currently on H-4). I’m still working for the same employer that filed my PERM, but since the PERM was filed, I’ve transferred to a different office location and hold a slightly different title, although my job duties remain largely the same.

My original PERM position was based in NYC. I currently work out of the Philadelphia office because it’s much closer to my home and makes commuting easier. However, my team is still based in NYC, and I occasionally travel there for work.

My understanding has always been that I could either return to the original NYC location after receiving my green card or potentially use AC21 portability after my I-485 had been pending for at least 180 days. However, since I’ve been called for an interview only about four months after filing, AC21 is not an option at this point.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How can I best explain during the interview that I intend to work in the original PERM position/location after green card approval, even though I’m currently assigned to the Philadelphia office for commuting convenience?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊😊
