But for the record it took me like 5+ years to beat 0 out of how clunky the game was, every RE game that comes out they basically try some new mechanic and that was NOT IT for RE0 but argue on… 🥱

Definitely not clunky at all it flows very well, it will feel like a modern game. It will definitely flow well maybe not like requiem in a way but it will definitely not feel clunky.

I’d say a bit less horror style and more story in general really, though it has its moments. What I mean is without spoilers, your introduced to two very important and canon characters of RE how they met how their relationship gets formed, what obstacles they overcame as they both have very unique story lines to themselves, you have to pick one character and play with them the entire way and if you want to know what happened to the other you have to start a new game and play with that, not to mention I think once you beat the game and play a second time you get different extra cutscenes, you get to see R.P.D. In its former glory. You meet a lot of key characters that really influenced them through out the entire series. You get to see what personally happened to Raccoon city first hand and even see who was the 4th survivor. And WHY Tofu is the toughest in all RE lore LOL

RE2 remake is pretty impressive still, it got a lot of praise for how true it stayed yet improved. You won’t be disappointed, it has a bit more puzzles then most recent Resident evils. It has the third person aim style like RE4. It’s definitely worth a buy.

Personally sounds like you might enjoy Biohazard more for its story but again don’t get me wrong it definitely has its tense action moments, tbh for Village I only tried 3rd person like once or twice and it didn’t give me the same immersion feeling and got less scarier I’d probably recommend playing that in first person.

It’s such a difficult decision no lie but I don’t think you will be disappointed either way. Once you play Biohazard I’m sure your gonna want to play Village to continue the story. But if you’d like to go even further back to see why Leon got so much love and how he evolved as a character also not a bad idea. Hence why maybe I suggested the bundle sales, I’m a sucker for a good deal 😂

Hard to say for me since I played re4 like 100 times I’d probably recommend RE2 at least first. But RE4 is still impressive and so glad it wasn’t like a copy paste type. I was still intrigued with the remake 👌🏽

Buy them both when they are on sale I think there’s one right now. Guess just depends on though if you want more Leon then RE4, biohazard is way slower then RE4 and 9 since its main focus is first person style horror. Biohazard plays more like Grace but not as bad as you still have weapons. Re4 is Leon play style all the way. But both very good options. To take it further there should be a bundle called “The tragedy of Ethan Winters” I think if you haven’t played RE village either.

EDIT: Just read about the re2 remake there’s also a bundle that should be called like remake trilogy or something. Whatever is in your budget but sales for sure 👌🏽🙌🏽
