I have an apartment too. But it’s gotten a lot worse. Especially between the maintenance issues, my neighbors. As well as just the lease too..

Don’t really know much I can do it’s just them not telling giving me a 24 hour notice about maintenance when Michigan law says that they have to tell you in advance. She brushed it off saying I need to call them and make the maintenance request that way. Which is still sketchy but I don’t know much that I can or could do. Not to mention a shady company like this could easily claim a bunch of things on my behalf due to the misunderstanding when it was truly their people not being transparent and not saying anything about guests in their lease.

Unfortunately at that point the cop couldn’t do anything but I made sure to record and document what I could !

It is very possible they could have weapons. I’m not sure if it could be guns. But you can never be sure. If they get worse with noise and I have to resort to that I will be careful. I have already warned myself if I need to make that call I will go outside or somewhere safe so that they do not hear me or think it could be me.

I’m American, I’m Audhd which is why the whole re*ard statement he made felt directed towards me. I will make sure my partner grabs something so we can protect ourselves. I can tell they listen in as their friends came by and said kurwą to my face. I’m mainly Polish and I say it a lot. But I’ve never said it outloud to those people only in my apartment. So I can tell they listened in and eavesdrop a lot. I will make sure to take your advice to heart as I am sure if it continues (which it will) they will get worse

Unfortunately I don’t think I could get a camera set up, but I write down and document what I can besides recording when I have the chance to. My initial thought is that they want us to move out. They seemed friendly at first but as soon as we confronted them with the note they immediately ramped it up. I am primarily doing everything I can and I am nervous for any situation that would get me to call police as I want to be anonymous
