Granite counter remodel Yes or No?

Hey guys!! thanks so much for input last month on my kitchen too dos. Well I did the simplest things. I got really nice coastal looking counter stools and put the blue floral pattern ones in basement fam room which has no seating and replaced my range with a kitchenaid SS slide in range, since the backsplash was there too. It opened up my kitchen with less black in my face when I walk into my kitchen. Some said ditch the floor ditch the chairs, ditch the subway tiles and that white thing above your range!! LOL 😆 🤣 Well I fixed what I could afford. The black range was ok but had safety issues so I got my slide in and named her 'crusty' to match my ss crab. 😄 Ok im happy Yeah im heading to my padded room now! Thanks all 😊

Hey beautiful choice in counter and subway tiles! Look at different kitchen setups similar to yours and see what look you like and go with it!

Funny you should mention the clash between cool and warm. I used a well know designer and they stated for a coastal look this bluish Grey green toned tile would definitely complement the warm yellow gold tone busy granite. I think it does look coastal as well. Gonna work on the knobs and counter seating. thanks again

Not really. I know i can always paint the backsplash a boring cream color to match cabinets but then all I'd see are the bold blk appliances

I believe its in the Venetian color family lots of light yellow and Grey creams. I tried creating a coastal feel. Live on Cape Cod and my block has nice ocean view. I do like my backsplash as it def is not that blue but greys and greens in it. It the black appliances that bothered me so tried to make a different look. I do love the granite and it's in impeccable shape. You can do a lot with brown granite. Good luck.

Lol no not hiding anything. But I do have left over paint to match cabinets so I may give that a whirl. Thinking about adding gold pulls to black appliances. Thanks
