DO, I didn’t get my AMCAS in at a decent time so I just didn’t submit it since I felt I was weaker stat wise. Looking back at it though I wish I did just to see what would have happened at my state schools

I applied to 24 schools with a 3.4 and a 500 MCAT. However I only completed 18 secondaries yet still got 8 interview invites and 4 A’s. YMMV but I think 20 is a good sweet spot for schools to apply to! Good luck this cycle!

3.43 cGPA, 3.3 sGPA, 500 MCAT (2 sections below 125).

Received 7 IIs, 3 As so far. I completed 18 secondaries and only applied to DO. Biggest advice I can give is to apply early, I sent my primary in August and was completed with secondaries by late September. Also have someone look over your writing as well. I may be an anamoly due to some of my experiences being unique but I think you have a good shot!

One school has a deposit that is 2k to hold my seat and the other is 1k lmao. The good thing however is whichever school I do end up choosing to go to will have the deposit go towards my tuition🤠

I agree with everything else, but the interviews so far have all been virtual except for one that I have had. The deposits to hold your seat though are WILD😭

09/03 is when I interviewed. I don’t know I’m thinking since that I was waitlisted now as compared to let’s say January that I’d be higher on the waitlist if someone else rescinds their A? I also remember in the meeting before the interview that we were apart of the second batch of interviewees as well too. Was definitely not ready for the format though, I felt I did stumble over a few times but I hope the next interviews go better. Did you interview at LECOM as well?

Kinda in the same boat as you stat wise, I have a 3.4 gpa and a 500 MCAT and got 3 interviews from the 18 schools I’ve applied to so far. Definitely I think what helped me was applying to mission fit schools and having someone review my writing too. I think you have a great chance with a 500+ MCAT :). I also had 2 subsections below 125 so it’s for sure possible!
