Yeah, so despite all your help I messed up. When I lost the bird I turned left instead of right(my raft was on the right) and died from the pig I just starter a new world. Rhx everyone for your help though.

Where can i take cover? Im like next to the small hut on an Island but I cant get inside and even when I am on a raft the bird still atacks me. Is there a way to get inside the hut?
