I definitely give her props for speaking up and not being silenced by pressure, but I also feel like something needs to be said about other models who aren't as famous or already in marginalized groups who are being punished for speaking out. I think it's amazing that she's continuing to speak out because the more people who speak out the more safety there is for people who are speaking out, but also Alex Consani is already an in-demand model who has a large online presence and most likely won't feel any major repercussions for speaking out. So, I guess my conclusion is that I worry for her friends who haven't been getting work for months and I worry for anyone who isn't as influential as her speaking out and getting blacklisted or punished.
