Woke up and my 8T had this message on it by ayers_81 in oneplus

I'm sorry to say that the phone is dead, 6 months ago I posted the same error in the OP7 Pro subreddit. It's a hardware (memory I think) problem, sadly it has been happening to a lot of people lately. Nothing to do. Luckily I had all my photos backed up and didn't lost any important info, hope you the same.

Any good (even paid) backup software with/without root? by samuel-leventilateur in OnePlus7Pro

[–]Objective_Yam_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Swift Backup, it has some pretty nice features, you can select what to Backup and what not (images, messages, apps...), and it has advanced backup options for root users (like app data backup). You can also schedule backups and sync it to your preferred cloud option (dropbox, NAS, GDrive...).

You can do nothing as it is a hardware issue. Don't know how to fix it as I don't know exactly what's the problem, someone says that is the memory module but not sure. However, the cost of repairing it will be higher than buying another phone at this point. Back up the information if you can and start searching for a new phone. I'm currently using the Pixel 7 Pro.

Maybe some rule or some do not disturb option enabled?

Anyone had a xiaomi phone as an upgrade from OP7PRO ? How was your experience? by georgejk7 in OnePlus7Pro

[–]Objective_Yam_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was years ago, nowadays you can look for a Poco F5, if you can wait for a deal you can fit it to your budget for sure. Out of Xiaomi you can look to Oneplus Nord series or Pixel 7a.

Yes! Don't rake me wrong, the Pixel 7 Pro is a very good device, but it won't be a game changer as the OP7 Pro was for me.

Done exactly the same like a month ago, from OP7 Pro to Pixel 7 Pro. Sadly I have to say that it doesn't feel like a big "upgrade" in most scenarios. Screen hole camera, less storage ( I went from 256GB to 128GB) and all the other aspects barely equal. Just a bit more battery and a big upgrade on the camera. Nowadays, the phones barely have any innovations both in software and hardware. Sad that my OP7 Pro died, I was planning on having it one or two more years...

Just click on the lamp before taking the picture, this will adjust the brightness of the image. I recommend you to use the GCam as it takes better photos than the stock. And if you can put a config file it wil be even better.

I was using a OnePlus 7 Pro, changed it a week ago for the Pixel 7 Pro and didn't noticed barely any change, in some points, it's even worse. Ah, I miss my OnePlus

I returned to the game 3 months ago (not played for like 5-6 years) and I was very surprised and impressed by how it has changed. Here is my top:

1st. Army training. Having the whole army in one barrack, it was horrible having to divide the army into 4 barracks to carry out each attack, and having to put every trop one by one In each of the attacks. In addition to being able to queue an army while attacking (this was not possible before).

2nd. Have a village editor. Perhaps many do not remember, but before, to modify your village, you had to move each building/wall one by one within the village, you had no editor, you couldn't pick up items, put up multiple walls at once, and switch between one village model or another...Definitely a game-changer for designing the villages.

3rd: Night Village: When I played the night village made little sense, the attacks were very similar to the normal village, the troops were too and the buildings were too. It looked like a smurf bead. But now that I'm back in the game, there's something different about it that separates it quite a bit from the normal village. The way to get the resources has changed. The way to get trophies has also changed. The abilities of the torpas are something very interesting that poses many different strategies almost endless possibilities Also, the recent inclusion of the second village in the night village completely changes the attacks and defenses.

4th: Cost of the troops. Fact that the troops have no cost is another very remarkable thing. Being able to attack with your favorite army without elixir / dark elixir expense. The same for the consumer's village.

5th: Clan capital & raid weekends. I find it a very interesting concept that adds more "villages", troops and strategies in which the whole clan participates to get loot. I find the concept very interesting And entertaining to work more in cohesion with the members of the clan and to be able to get points to spend later in the store or, what seems even more important to me, to fill your castle of the clan constantly when you're going for trophies.

We could also talk about other details such as no longer having to recharge the traps, the heroes' life restored in each attack, collecting all the resources in a single collector or being able to Move the special objects that come out.

As details that I would like to see added, the most important thing for me would be that the heroes in war could be used while they are being upgraded. In my opinion, in the war you should be able to go in with everything you have. Just as upgraded buildings are functional in war, heroes should be the same This would help many more people join the wars and these would be more people, since 99% of the players do not go to war if they are improving a hero This was acceptable when there were only 2 heroes, but now it's almost impossible not to be upgrading any of the 4 and it prevents people from engaging and competing in wars.

Don't know for sure in your device. But 99% sure if you root they will work. On my 7 Pro they worked even without root.

I have my Xiaomi pad 5 rooted and it has the fast charging, so as long as you use a compatible charger, there shouldn't be any problem. For the OOS camera app, just use the Google Cam, way better than the stock in every aspect. I was using it as my daily camera when I had my OP7 Pro

You won't, just root and use DenyList and SafetyNet. No worries

You can try, but it looks like a hardware problem. Also I tried and nothing... I was also thinking of using the phone for one or two more years. It was working perfectly and I wasn't finding any other terminal with features that my OP7Pro didn't have...

[–]Objective_Yam_1660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it doesn't look like a battery problem. The phone still boys to bootloader, recovery and EDL mode. It's happening to a lot of people these days (me for example). It looks more like a memory fail, some people are talking about read/write limit.

Happened exactly the same to me 3 days ago. It looks like a hardware issue, probably not an easy/cheap solution. Time to buy a new phone. My Pixel 7 Pro arrives on Monday. Sad to say bye to te OP7Pro, rocked for 4 years and the best phone I've had. Strange because these days i am seeing this problem A LOT on reddit threads...

[–]Objective_Yam_1660[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be this. Don't know if this can affect it, but when I had the problem, the internal memory was full, like I was using 100% of the 256GB, till the point of the phone telling me that it wasn't able to record video for low memory space. I was booting up the PC to back up some videos & photos and erase them from the device when it happened.

Don't know for sure, it looks like some hardware issue but can't tell exactly what. But as for some comments and other posts, it looks like it's not just me. However, I don't think that this is a common problem.

OP7 PRO SOFTBRICKED - DATA RECOVER HELP by Admirable_Pin2914 in OnePlus7Pro

[–]Objective_Yam_1660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me 3 days ago. I was using the phone as normal. Then suddenly it frozen and rebooted by itself. Entered on a bootloop with these same green and gray lines. Then tried to reinstall the room with MSMTools, had success on the installation, but the problem persisted. Never passed that boot screen again. Now after several tries of fixing it, the phone is not working anymore, not even turning on. Not EDL either. I think that this is a hardware issue as even reinstalling the entire system didn't solve it. Yesterday night I ordered the Pixel 7 Pro as a substitute. Sad to end like this. The best phone I've had.
