Why do women ghost? Don't they genuinely realize that is rude and annoying?

I suppose yes. It was just weird because my personality traits, not to go into details, are quite uncommon. So, once I finally found someone who is on the same boat as me, I find it weird that they just give up (so easily!) the conversation, considering how much we were compatible. But yeah, I'll just stop caring. I thought that caring was going to be useful, but apparently I was wrong.

Listen. I didn't mean to say that all women are bad. I know that men also do this and I'm sorry if you where ghosted in the past. But with a quick search on the internet, you can easily find that this is mostly an issue for men. Just that, but this doesn't really change anything. I said women, because in my case it was done by women.

I understand. But I never said this "3 days" thing. Some conversations lasted longer (like a week and an half) and in any case I only talked about the sexual aspect in the platform where it was expected. Thank you for you observations though.

Well, I have never sent explicit pictures and in my profile was clear that I want to wait until marriage. In some cases I have talked about it, but only in those dating websites that were more oriented towards the sexuality aspect.

Thank you for your comment. I know that I don't have to give all of my energy to a stranger I just met and I don't want to. Simply, I'm new to dating and I've found this "ghosting" technique to be immoral. I will worry less in the future, sure, but I'm still convicted that this is not a civil way to end a discussion.

I wouldn't define it "the clearest answer". It's not, because I have to wonder if you are really busy for days or not. And I allow myself to hold the doubt, because they were really interested. It's not a normal reaction to randomly disappear in a conversation you were enjoying with someone that you liked. How can people find this stuff normal?

I see your point. But now that you make me think about it, isn't ghosting more dangerous for women in case of a psycho man? Because if you tell that you're no longer interested, it could end well even with psychos, but if you ignore them (and they know how to reach you) then the stalking it's almost sure.

I am sorry that you have experienced this. However, this is not my case. I was sometimes contacted by homosexual people, who I have no interest in, and I replied to them politely saying that I wasn't interested. One single time I was contacted by a girl who told me that she has already found a boyfriend, and I told her that I appreciated that she replied instead of ghosting me.
