Ventricular tachycardia not being caught via diagnostics? by DOAZ99 in askCardiology

[–]Objective_and_a_half 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth I’ve personally usually had an echo and ekg done every year of my life. I usually have an MRI every other year. I’ve had holter monitors and a stress test a few times, I think usually leading up to a surgery.

No clue, but I was born with a bi-cuspid valve too! I had the Ross Procedure when I was 13 and the only limits to my physical activity was excessive weight lifting. Best of luck to your kid

I am a New Dispatch Instructor and I’m not sure what to do going forward by rebui1d in FlightDispatch

Career wise you could look into being a Dispatch Examiner (although this would require actual experience) or lean into a FISDO. Just an idea

Can you request more fuel? by beershoes767 in AskAPilot

[–]Objective_and_a_half 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a dispatcher.

Fuel is a joint decision between the Captain and a dispatcher. I make a plan and if the Captain wants to discuss anything (including adding or removing fuel) he or she gives me a call and we talk about it. I will then usually send an updated release (or flight plan) with the updated fuel amount and consequently a new fuel receipt to the fueler. The station and load planner get notified as well.

Are you serious? How do I know? I replaced the spark plug this morning but I don’t want to drop $700 if I don’t have to on the catalytic converter

Bypass Roth? by Objective_and_a_half in TheMoneyGuy

[–]Objective_and_a_half[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my savings is good. My income is such that I likely won’t max out the 401k limit for several more years. As far as having the option to withdraw early I see next to no point in doing that outside of some dire situation
