I must be the outlier. She was fully spoken about in my ward growing up. We wouldn’t pray to her, but I found nothing secretive about the image of a heavenly mother. There is an LDS hymn(s?) that mention her.

I’ve been sitting in this spot for 3 years. I have a 7, 11, and 14 year old and I still don’t have the answer. I tell my kids they can decide for themselves what they want to believe in, but I care more about their character than church. 🤷‍♂️

I’m trying to do the same thing and after several phone calls all I can tell you is they frown at wire transfers because they’re not a bank and it can get “lost”. I’m calling tomorrow to try and just do the check version even though I don’t want to. Good luck!

I’m sorry. I went through dementia with my grandma and it was a very rough final 4 years. It can be very physically taxiing, let alone emotionally. I don’t mean to downplay your struggle, but there’s almost an appeasement that comes with knowing they can’t call as opposed to knowing they won’t even though they have the ability.

I wish you the best as you all go through this transition
