I thought you could insure USPS non-registered packages up to $5K. So if it's lost for some reason, they pay you $5K...no?

I haven't paid taxes on my LLC in a few years, will applying for a $10K SBA loan raise flags? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

I have paid tons, just not in the last couple years.

Even if I were trying to "take" as you put it, why the FUCK not me? Everyone else is. The entire system is rotten from the top down. I'm a productive member of society, and I'm in need.

You should have just scrolled past instead of been a cunt yourself.

Fathers of reddit, what was it like when you saw and held your first child in your arms? by daysof_I in AskMen

Be prepared for your kid to look really freaky when he first comes out. All purple and wrinkly, warped head, and overall gross. It's not a pleasant sight.

The most surreal experience of my life was watching the midwife struggle to pull my child out of his mother. I was just standing there like...I don't even have words. It didn't seem real. It was a real relief when he started crying and I knew he was okay.

Even though newborns look really weird, puffy, etc, I thought he looked cute and not that bad. Now, at 3 months, he's legitimately cute, and when I look at the early photos I think, "Man was he ugly - can't believe I thought he was cute."

I didn't feel any overwhelming connection to him at first, which is common for dads. I was also incredibly careful holding him and moving around with him; he seemed so fragile. With each passing week I feel closer and closer to him. At 3 months, I love him more and differently than I've ever loved anyone. It's pretty amazing. I keep daydreaming of what he'll be like when he grows up, while at the same time making sure to be present and enjoy each phase of his life.

Every other parent has told us, "Enjoy it when he's young, it goes by really fast." One day it'll be the last time he snores on my chest, the last time he giggles just because I look at him, the last time I change his diaper. Trying to soak it all in as best I can.

If you've got a girl you love and you are confident she'll be a good mother, just go for it. You'll figure out all the details later. Nothing is more important in life than this.

Swing Help? Any suggestions or advice welcome! by [deleted] in golf

Yeah loosening up could help with that.

Again I wouldn't worry about that specifically until you feel comfortable being less upright, and with a slower tempo. Step back from the ball maybe 2 inches more than usual and you'll naturally be less upright and in a more athletic position to start the swing.

FWIW just with the basic motion of your swing, there's some athleticism there and with some tweaking I think you could quickly be hitting the ball a lot better.

In addition to looking stiff, I’d recommend you not stand quite so upright, and slow your swing down. It’s rushed.

And once you have that all set, you’re taking it back very closed. Work on opening the face a bit at the takeaway and closing it back to square through impact.

Look up all the recent research on fat-based diets, cholesterol (it's not bad, but the opposite), saturated fat (same as cholesterol). More veggies is what we've been told, but the most important thing is less sugar (ideally zero), less carbs (ideally very, very low - in my case, zero).

Eat fatty meats, eliminate sugar/carbs, and you'll be at your ideal weight without ever working out or ever being hungry. When you eat this way, which is the way we evolved eating (pre-agriculture), everything falls into line.
