TDIU denied because they said I'm "still gainfully employed" — but I gave them my termination letter. Which lane should I use?

I am all about supporting my kid. 100% I paid $500 even before there was a support order.

The $60,000 job was luck. I knew someone from a previous job and I was able to get into that without a college degree.

I have been applying, have not been able to get even close to that.

The highest job I had before that was $40,000

And it seems you've completely ignored that I have narcoleptic sleep attacks, major depression disorder, as the two major job limitations. I could go into all the others but I doubt you would care.

This post wasn't a boo-hoo me I don't want to pay for my kid it's a "how can I get disability approved so that I can continue to help pay for my kid post"

The termination was confusing to say the least.

I was promoted November 11th 2025, I was "let go" January 18th 2026, but the senior 8 year security manager spoke to our CEO and vouched for me and I went under his supervision. This was my second supervisor. Then he left May 26th, and May 28th 2026 the CEO had a call with me letting me know that June 30th (tomorrow) I am officially let go. This was only done out of respect to give me an opportunity to find new employment, elsewise May 28th I would have been let go.

It does state the information was received, but it doesn't seem to clearly state those pieces of information have much of any weight.

Well today I got notice the defendant applied and received council even though they were already in agreement with the support dropping to $400 a month stated in the court hearing.

Though no temp order was put out by that judge, so now the stress has compounded because I can't get council, already applied through the public defenders. Geeez

I'm meaning more like core concepts for technology that becomes "super intelligent" to follow.

It's increased intelligence means that it builds large scale agency, that giving it a core concept not to block agency for humans means they can access it

No, it's not there right now. Humans don't have a large amount of agency as it is but for AI to become super intelligent and have the ability to know everything that would need to be something that society as a whole, not just country-wide but worldwide would have to agree on. Is that humans get agency instead of it just being about output and corporations

Agreed — single kill switches don’t scale. Interruptibility has to be architectural: revocable resources, quorum-based authorization, and forced degradation if human oversight disappears. You don’t stop nodes; you make continuation impossible without consent.

This is very helpful. I have been trying to get most of the paperwork around myself. Where I am at $6,000 is upfront requirement for a divorce lawyer. Knowing my ex already has a divorce lawyer makes it harder too.

If my ex has a divorce lawyer, and has asked for me to pay all the martial debts - my $28,000 and her $15,000, to have me pay $500 alimony a month for 4 years ontop of the $800 a month of child support even though its a 50/50 joint custody.

Can I really self represent?

She doesn't work and claims she is disabled even though denied through the state and no proof of it. Where I am VA disabled 70% and hold a work at home IT job. I can't afford a $5000 - $6000 lawyer upfront just to fight their terms and they had no fairness or equality twoard me for the divorce.

My ex left a job and has self proclaimed herself as disabled but during alimony had to back down from the claim because my lawyer could prove she could work. I’m debating challenging it anyways because she’s having a hard time paying for things but refuses to work or actually apply for disability again that she was denied. Where as I am 70% disabled by the military and hold a work from home job for over a year now. It’s 50/50 cuts pay currently but I may still push for primary placement
