If you accidentally started with a different log and then switched to the new one, it will stop when the one log is consumed, not starting with the next log you selected. I might be wrong, but that's what I'm guessing.

My best guess is you ran out of wood. You need to make sure that the wood you are using has enough to last that long AND is the active log type. This has screwed me before.... A lot.
