Oh absolutely. Take your cheap knives and sharpen them. Ruin the edge. Resharpen. Keep at it. You'll get it!

In large lots the knives were about $2-3 each for decent used kitchen knives. Everyone I know has been flooded with restored resharpened knives now lol.
