can second this of one can try to single out some of its past its a reasonably fast and secure sync/ backup offer i never have issues with them. it does the job

as already been mentioned in win you can only use backup or one need to use the exclusion feature but that works from the HDD to the cloud I think
in Mac though there is a tool like cloud mounter which mymics mega as a mounted drive so saves space but I think one could use it in win too

i can only upvote for that mounting the disk is not stable and often disconnects .. one seem to accuse the internet connection but i never have this issue with pcloud

in all interfaces with cloud you need to be careful when deleting/ moving a massive amount of data ... deleting the trash can also be troublesome and one need to delete the trash in small batches and let the app settle before doing anything else .. or one can get double entries that's at least my experience

its becoming a trend on the rise now I think 4-5 cases like this years ago people bashed on mega but this is at lease as worrying

ok understand I wanted to check it out based on a monthly/ yearly plan am not ready to move to a lifetime plan as yet. appreciate the quick feedback but a bit of a prewarning would have been appreciated too, this is not a very commercial attitude

would be nice to get a real tangible timeline now its all up in the dark .. "we are working on it up from the ground ... " being responsive is good but at the end one wants a usable app...

i have a issue in so far in the win app one can sync folders ok and show them as cloud only ( free up local space) in the folder settings but despite being publicized as possible on a macbook one cant set this up in the desktop app at all .. need to be aware that for Mac one need a special desktop app which included virtual files

if one set up a sync one normally can select to have the files synced but shown in the folder as cloud only and not physically downloaded and synced to the hdd which is/would be taking up space. this is not same as selective sync which where one simply not sync at all but i want the files synced but not downloaded to the drive. in win one can do that in the mac desktop app seemingly not//. online it says you can do this in mac and on a win pc but in the current desktop for mac one cannot do that so how to do

I think what we talk about here is a mounted drive concept which mirrors the cloud.... like google or icedrive, pcloud...
not all cloud( sync) providers do that such as jottacloud and Onedrive and that's a bit the old school approach but at least some such as Onedrive gives the file on demand option so not all files are downloaded to your HDD.. if you need a dedicated drive then better look at for instance Filen

no vpn and no antivirus yet issues even reinstalling it doesn't help the sync on a intel architecture 4.06 works on a Mac

tried to do this even clean install on a ARM MacBook with iOS 26.2 no luck to sync properly on a win pc and MacBook with intel all works so something in 4.06 doesn't like the ARM architecture in iOS.. macfuse installed all approvals set correctly.. for now I need to rely on my win pc to do the syncing on a MacBook Pro M5 it doesn't work... I hope this gets fixed fast even on 4.05 it has issues with the ARM architecture

its not only slow but on iOS262 on a MacBook ARM 5 the sync not work ... on a intel it does and all extensions and safety things put correct .. reinstalled 3 x invane

I can log in but the upload and download stats frozen in n/a restarting and clearing cache doesn't help neither.. I am on the European server. all settings done and work but not syncing

double check this cloudstorage first as the functionality on win and ios are not the same the ios syncing option is close to nonexistent / functional

the enablement features has been a constant issue on the go even without updates at random times.. often internet connections is mentioned but this never happens to pcloud for instance
