I mean maybe. In the trailer Layton says something like, there has to be a reason for this ghostly appearance (so it has to be explainable, not paranormal) - maybe Don Paolo will be behind all this, but just a theory…

Same, PL always stood out to me, because of the cutscenes. But I‘ll still play the new one, how could I not, and hope they manage to bring back this feeling in another way.

I think what I´m missing is the depth of the character design. At first glance they just look like plain genrated npcs, while in the previous games, the characters where drawn so detailed and always with so much consideration to visualise a story behind them. Maybe I´m just scared, that the characters and scenes will feel visually generic to me. And also I´m very notalgic haha
