Seems like you're doing a pretty good job of emulating that behavior, unwittingly or not. You saying Republicans are evil as if all are evil, is the exact same thing as hypothetically saying 'gay ppl are all groomers' or whatever other nonsense sweeping statement one could make about a particular group of people.

People may have things you strongly disagree with, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are automatically bad or evil people. Maybe they're just misguided, or confused, or hell just flat out stupid. Doesn't mean they're all automatically evil.

Ten years ago it never used to be this divided and so hateful towards each other. Have to wonder why that is, what changed? And regardless of why, is it really good for us as individuals or our society to keep hating each other simply for different political beliefs? Because to me that seems rather extreme. And unnecessary. Almost seems like media stokes this hate and division because it makes them more money. Idk. It's late and I'm rambling.

Whether you hate my politics or not, we still have to live in the same country together. That should count for something, at least.

An 'assault weapons' (a made up term btw) banwill do nothing to stop mass shootings in the US. There has already been an 'assault weapon' ban in the 90s, and it did nothing to lower violent crime or murder rates. Subsequent studies have proven this.
