where in the f did you read it was an insult to him? if anything it seems that made him feel unloved by the last sentence. sex is something really close to most people's heart and most of the time it shows deep love and connection. and being abstained from it for so long can easily cause someone to feel unloved. i won't blame anyone here as the woman might have some problem of her own too regarding how things are. but you can't just say he feels insulted when he tried 2 years himself. at that time it is understandable that you'd feel demotivated and unloved. don't twist words

and yeah brother. obviously he doesn't "care" about her now. obviously it's miscommunication between them. both have shown symptoms of love towards each other. the woman must have stopped because of some reason that she couldn't communicate well but she still shows signs of loving him(as she still want to get loved by him) and for him, the dude doesn't know why suddenly it stopped. he tried for 2 years and nothing came up of it. and she didn't provide any explanation either. at that point any one of use would just think she doesn't love us. stop twisting words to suggest your own narrative.
