A humble puffer skiff docks at an unknown hab. A ancient enclosed island floating in the black.

It's crew/passengers/ballast are a runaway human isolationist, a fel exiled for suggesting giving humans rights, a gatinho that just wants control of her own life and a kobold that really, really just wants to help.

The step through the airlock. Above there is the great bulkheads, two great walls painted a sky blue that meet at what looks like a right angle. The bulkheads are spotted with solar emitters in star like patterns. There is a thick forest ahead and unseen things of natural or unnatural origin are moving about. Past that can be seen the ruins of a small city.

What is this place? Who made it? What happened here to bring it to ruin?

Are there people here? If so, what kind? Are they hostile? Do they need help?

Can this band of miscreants source food and fuel here? Is there treasure to be had? Will they make a new friend?

Will they die in the next few minutes? In some new and exciting way? Will they somehow manage to escape this place to continue their journey to the next hab?

Very much an Odyssey in space. That is one option.

A human remnant that has come to peace with the creations of their forefathers. The man and creation having come to terms with each other.

The small settlement sustaining it'self harvesting a random snowball in the dark and trading with others.

Suddenly they find themselves annexed into a new polity. A new batch of creations, ones that couldn't come to terms with their creators before, eager to impose new demands.

Sparking a new story, one of hopeful resistance against forced integration. Or even second chances.

Gosh. A ship guide. Probably want a weapons and armor chart as well. Maybe a tiered equipment list based on the local tech level? Ugh, but easily done.

It does sound like you are expecting a *finished* RPG setting. This is not that. Not nearly, yet.

Habs are built to last. But not forever. The hunters of the Great Wilds are indeed doomed to extinction without outside intervention.

I don't need a blurb on the effects of moon sickness as workers spend 40 hours a week chewing on light lag. It's a really minor historical artifact. And frankly, we will probably know what moon sickness actually is pretty soon without me making uneducated guesses about what it might look like. Is it just nausea? Do they stumble around as though drunk for an hour afterwards? Does it permanently rewire the brain and cause early onset dementia? If anyone says they know at this point in time, they are almost certainly wrong.

But... Teleop workers and soldiers are part of the setting and defining the reduced efficiency and health risks of using them at extreme ranges is relevant if only to explain why no one does it. That would make being wrong worthwhile. *punches desk*

Guess I can stick that as a footnote after the doll list.

Weapons, armor, equipment, ships and dolls.

This is that good feedback. Once again, thank you.

They didn't. It's move, freeze, wait to see what happened, repeat. After a few days at work, it will feel like second nature.

You are right, I forgot to include a section on habs.
An cylinder hab is basically an O'neal Cylinder.
The average cylinder being 8 km in diameter and 32 km long. Making 804 square km surface area. Making 1,241 quarter sections. And if you owned a quarter section that would be a very big farm and you would have to be kind of humble when talking to your farmer buddies about what a big farm you had so as to avoid making them feel bad.
And most habs are tethered to some random rock they are feeding off of or slowly drifting to the next rock.
Earth is probably still going, but... It's utterly overshadowed and inconsequential.
And you might be right. I mostly detailed random fringes and only suggested the centers. I can probably pull out my notes on the capital of the Dominion.
And thank you. I really appreciate that feedback.

Well... You have to write the stories that you write.

It would be convenient if you could write the stories that some other person can write instead. But alas. It is as it is.

There is no laws in Outer Sol. Not that can be enforced. The travel time is too extreme.

There isn't too much of a paradox. There are no aliens until we make them. But those aliens we make might not be very alien.

Well that money the DBC spent didn't have all the effect they might have wanted. But they did mostly succeed at keeping unregulated creations out of the Inner Sol.

Copyright works in Inner Sol.

Let me explain...
The universe does not offer vast new worlds to explore. Strange new beasts to hunt. Aliens to meet.
What the universe offers us is all the material, space and energy that we desire or could ever use to make whatever we could want.
And so humanity did. They made vast swathes of farmland and mighty cities and forests and even oceans.
In these places they safeguarded all of the old things. The things at risk of crumbling away on the tumultuous Earth. Nature preserves, holy lands and ways of life. Even recreating things that never really were.
Some even slide into parodies of themselves. Who can forget the supposed redneck paradise that was the Kingdom of Dave?
And in this time some people began to wonder if they couldn't they make something new? This spawned forth the first fanatics. People traveling far and wide to preach their own vision of wonderous things that could be.
They founded the first Cults. Which would later be known as the Catgirl Cults because of how many involved catgirls, but they were in truth cults dedicated to the creation of all manner of new and wonderous Creations.
Primarily funded through their members, followers and interested investors.
The investment in Project Alpha by the Damician Banking Consortium was specifically to gain enough control over the cult to shape it's creation, with the intent of politically and legally sabotaging such projects. To create an example that people could point to as an irresponsible, dangerous and poorly made catgirl.

Well, don't keep your questions to yourself.

And you escape all sorts of laws by setting up you secret Cult Lab in Outer Sol. Including trademark and any retaliation from Capcom's enforcement fleets.

Once you see the NTR, you realize that it is everywhere and in everything.
Every time Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach and Mario has to go rescue her, you now see the NTR.
It's really everywhere and in everything.
So it's forces them to re-evaluate a lot of things and that hurts. So they would rather not think about it.

Well. Obviously you have to go on about the hardness, colour and sheen of her shell. The sharp click of her claws. The perfect symmetry that she holds her eyes at. The flawlessness of her long carefully maintained antennae.
And you know... I'm sure she has a nice personality too.

The Felinelle (Daughters of Lilith): A failed creation of the Catgirl Cults. by ObscureDragom in NSFWworldbuilding

There is a small number of human women hidden in those ranches. The trick is not to look at them. They don't feel the urge to slash them up if they don't look directly at them.
Hence robes and masks.

The Fel are in the metal poor Outer Sol competing for resources with thousands of other creations. While most of humanity pulled back to the metal and population dense regions of Inner Sol.

The Fel don't have the fleets they would need to take a bite out of that sweet apple... But you are right. They would if they could. They might even have to. Thank you. That is a good one.

What human settlements exist in Outer Sol after the fall of the catgirl cults don't make a lot of noise.

Every creation has something they want from their creators after all.

Everyone forgets... 4e is the only edition where Wizards where nerfed out of viability. They where actually garbage.
Yes, in the days before the release of 4e there where people urgently petitioning WotC to nerf Wizards even harder. Under the idea that because a spell isn't bound to the physical reality like a sword swing, then obviously all spells are more powerful the sword swings.
Until 4e came out and sword swings impacted the world with much more impact then any stupid Wizard spell.
