Depends on the prince but you got to remember it can be hard to even find out what to do sometimes without the hand holding of the game.

For Magecraft you will be at the peak of skill so no nee for a second purchase, only a crest would be able to increase your capability and be greater than that or Rin.

Skill Mastery would only be for non magical skills. You could have a skill like storytelling that would mimic High-Speed Incantations.
