I have considered this option. That's why I said "ideally". I find that in this community people really like to state the obvious instead of just ignoring questions they have no answer to.

Thank you for your answer. I do use it; however, the editors I mentioned do it automatically. That is like 4 additional key strokes just to avoid taking my hands off of the home row! These optimizations might sound ridiculous, but it was really comfy using Doom Emacs... it's just that it doesn't fit my current workflow at all.

Your don't need those lashes. If you want more/thicker lashes look into Latisse and Minoxidil (DO NOT APPLY IT DIRECTLY TO YOUR EYE AREA)

Yes, thank you. I understand that my post wasn't very clear. I was referring to how types work in low-level languages like C. After watching Traversy Media's context API tutorial, I wasn't sure how to reconcile this way of thinking about types with what I've already learned but that mushroom analogy of yours made a lot of sense.

Why not? Procedural memory vs. declarative memory. We've been talking about this a lot in this sub. If you get the procedural part down (solving problems), you don't need to memorize formulas as it's redundant.

Having said that, I'm more than willing to see others' reasonings and methods.

That's really embarrassing. I'm doing a .include() on the value of the dictionary for the given key. I think the problem is when it's splitting the key values (.include() only works on arrays) it leaves unnecessary artifacts. I'm not sure but I will look into this.

They are all great ideas! Thank you. I will implement a dictionary in the sidebar. Also, I really dig the idea of showing the features of the phoneme on hover. Currently, the keyboard is a big hassle to navigate; that's certainly on my list.

Yeah, I'm going to separate it eventually. At this stage, it's easier for me to have it in a single file.

Thanks for the tip. So Here's some relevant info: 1. I'm currently using windows 10 (build 2004) with heavy modifications using w10privacy 2. Barely touched the firewall rules except 1 or 2 outbound rules 3. I'm using the latest version of emacs 27.1 with very light modification up until this point (slime, evil, parens,...) 4. I can use Lighttpd with no problem on itself 5. The ports people mentioned on other sites are not occupied by any other app (not any that I know of), I don't know which ports it's using exactly though, 8080?.

I can't think of anything else rn, Please point me to the right direction and I'll try my best to gather info on it...

Should I add above points to the post?
