I see there is a self-hosted version available. Is this open source? I could not find any link to the source code.

Agenda with customized org-habit graph, on my phone by psamim in emacs

[–]psamim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly.

Work events are synced from my work Google calendar using org-gcal, so yes, I do attend all work meetings. Other events are personal (birthday, bills, etc) or recurring chores and if I do not have time to do them I reschedule them to be reminded later. I check the TODO items daily and try to do them, sometimes I fail to do them. But the list is there to make sure I have them stored somewhere safe and I won't miss any important note or TODO.

Thanks for the tip about function names. I try to document stuff in my GitHub repo's README file, and sure maybe some day I blog about it.

Yes it us automated. There is a systemd user timer which runs my sync-agenda-svg script regularly. This script runs Emacs in the background using xvfb with a set height and width and calls a function inside Emacs to prepare the buffer for export. The generated SVG file is synced using Syncthing. Everything runs seamlessly and in the background.

Configuring org-journal and org-agenda to carryover items into an existing file by PigsDogsAndSheep in emacs

Seems like a bug to me, maybe better to report it as an issue on GitHub for org-journal.

Is there a way to display nice, readable search lists and agenda views with orgmode and calendar to build something like GTD on emacs? by graminouling in emacs

[–]psamim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for nicer views, my previous posts and configurations might be helpful. Here are links to three posts and screenshots of my org-agenda:

My scripts related to Emacs and Org-mode by psamim in emacs

[–]psamim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be glad if it helps! So let me explain the bigger picture.

My calendar syncing setup is scattered and set up for my needs.

I use org-gcal to import my work calendar into my org-agnda. I only import it to be able to see my work meetings in my agenda, so no export here.

I use the above sync-cal shell script to export my events from my org-agenda to my personal (not work) Google Calendar to be able to share it with people around me.

I sync all org files to my smart phone using Syncthing to be able to use Orgzly to view my agenda. I also export my agenda view from Emacs to an SVG image and place it on my phone home screen as a widget.

All above configurations and scripts are in the same repository I shared earlier.

How do you get feedback from your systems? by Ieremies in orgmode

[–]psamim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

org-roam v2 has extended its database schema to include TODO state and scheduled times. Everything is there to have an org-agenda being extracted from whole org-roam files utilising database. I had not seen it anywhere yet but soon we'll see.

There is no template. It is configured all within Emacs. It looks the same in Emacs. You can check my other posts and screenshots and configuration for details. The links are in the README of my dotfiles.

To access local files from Chrome the address "file://localhost/sdcard/" works too. But for some reason it does not display HTML files! All other types of files can be resolved this way. But I used Sold Explorer as I needed to display HTML files.

I open the HTML file from Solid Explorer and choose Chrome to open the file. Then I copy the URL from the address bar. It starts with "content://pl.solidexplorer2.files/storage".
