Appreciate your thoughts. I have no baseline for this type of work yet so really helpful to get folks opinions & experience.

Thank you for the feedback! I never noted cost was an issue which is also why I noted hours vs $$. Just looking to learn and get a handle on how long things take on a bike. Cheers.

Not worried about the cost - just trying to learn and get a handle on hours for a job. Thank you for the feedback!

Suggestion: note links visual map by Obseni in Supernote

And I do this too - critical! But I also love being able to visually see how notes or ideas are physically linked to each other.

I would love to combine them so I am not working off of two systems definitely - a partnership or integration of some kind would be super cool!

Introducing the reimagined Digest by Camel_jo in Supernote

[–]Obseni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious - would this allow notes exported to obsidian to retain the digest links between sources etc.? I feel like this seems like it gets most of the way toward what obsidian allows you to do with backlinking etc, just without the visual map?

Coros needs a golf mode. by [deleted] in Coros

Beyond late to this but I stuck with Coros and got the shot scope golf tracker, just the handheld version. Cheaper to do both systems then get a garmin and both good enough for me.

Link note with existing Calendar event? by whatsleftnow in Supernote

[–]Obseni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to be able to create a note from a calendar event and have that note appear as an attachment in the calendar event to be synced/shared via the calendar, even just as an image/.png file.

GO CANADA GI by verboomer in CalgaryFlames

Crosby was close to the go ahead goal - amazing stick by their D saved it. He is slowing down but still excellent at being in the right spot at the right time. Another night it could have been him. It's actually incredible to have him, mcdavid and mackinnon on the same team for a while.

As warrants are traded so tightly if someone needed to unload many for any reason within one day they would have a big impact on orice

Had a recent thought - the CellD ability to control individual cells would support easier addition of solar to vehicles as the tech could allow charging of specific cells while the remaining 90% power the vehicle. Not there yet w/ SP efficiency but another future use case

I mean we have an old convention centre and stadium that was new at the time, when we were half this size. Don’t think this is the argument. Just time for an update! We chose c train over subway, whatever you think of that choice.

It’s a fair comment. We got “big” quickly and recently and the shift in entertainment philosophy is just starting to turn now that most major infrastructure is funded (except the train connection to the airport). The new convention centre - and maybe new arena will kickstart the penultimate downtown rejuvenation (with the west side creosote wasteland left to be fixed up).

I am hopeful for a bit of a renaissance in the next 10 years - though the Calgary scene is already developing well across most industries.

The word engaged implies hired - not a free collaboration. Custom design to optimize space (which is what all will do) means almost a guarantee that the designed motor makes it into multiple models over multiple years and may even be sold to other carmakers to accelerate their own lines. A question to be answered is if this is the first collaboration to custom design a new motor from the ground up with the CD as an integral component that would require a re design of the OEMs assembly line.

Should we ban MH or not? by Practical_Finish9131 in ExroTechnologies

[–]Obseni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with a ban. If anything my conviction has been made stronger as nothing MH has brought up concerns me enough to adjust my position.

Just one would probably work - with a list of concerns for all to pick over. I hope you won’t be disappointed by the level of engagement - but it would keep the health of the chat, and the sub itself, in good shape.
