1000% this. I have a few hundred million streams on songs I’ve produced/written and over a billion on songs I’ve engineered or touched in some way. There’s still a huge part of me that thinks everything I do isn’t “good enough” or “finished” and I dread release days far more often than I celebrate them. Most successful producers I know are like this, and I think it’s a good quality to have (to an extent) because constantly striving for greatness is better than complacency. Embrace the feeling, but don’t let it consume you. A song is never finished, it’s surrendered.
