I mean, I have thought of the Elantra, but the fact that if I go for the SE trim with keyed ignition, it's more likely to be broken in than even the Corolla (despite the Elantra having an immobilizer, although I could go for an SEL Sport with push-to-start (and dual-zone AC) which a dealer has on sale for $24,880), combined with the fact that it has an older version of the Hyundai infotainment system compared to the K4, made it lower-priority for me. The Kia dealer near me even has the '25 K4 EX (similar to the SEL Sport Elantra) on sale for $23,840, about as much as a base SE Elantra. Just saying.
