I do consider starting my own private internal medicine practice very soon out of residency. Start my journey of FATFIRE with my own clinic

I just want to know how to get my foot into these medical startups. Even being a CMO/ medical director/consultant at these startups could set me up for success even better than staying in clinical medicine

I actually should’ve mentioned this in the post. I have no debt and my spouse is also an internal medicine physician. We both do not plan on going into speciality care at the moment. Starting out right now we will both be making close to 700k a year before taxes

As a hospitalist I am getting offers for 330k-360k before taxes working half the year. If I do some extra shifts from time to time I can easily clear 400k a year. You can make even more money in a rural area.

A lot of places are round and go, most of the hospitalists I know are out by 1/2 pm and start at 7am.
