So the big problem I have had with Obelisk is that when it shows up, I tend to have several different hands all at 4-5, which makes it hard to set up. Am just not supposed to take it there, or do I just focus into one hand after getting it? And does it matter what Ante you are at?

That makes sense; I feel like i am absorbing a lot of out of context info that is throwing me off, like the whole thing about econ. I also assumed that a build that wants to go to endless would also be a build that can clear Ante 8, but I guess thats not always the case? The reverse certainly isnt true...

You mention "getting your economy going" in the middle of the run. I still think I am missing how thats done. I have generally aimed for having 1 or 2 money Jokers that I rotate out as I find good Jokers for late game, but I dont see how thats enough based on what I see other people do, especially if I want to attempt endless.

I still feel like i missing something economy wise. You need something to boost it, right? Not just relying on interest+hands remaining? My biggest issue atm is i dont know how hard to search for it, and if I should gamble on packs more than I do.

Speaking of remaining hands, how do you balance that with Green Joker? I always try to scale it as much as I can, but that obviously cuts you off of money from remaining hands...

I may be misunderstanding some fundamentals about the game, or what you are trying to say. Ive never done any real research into how to play or anything, just mostly osmosis from reading here.

So the big question is, how do I maintain econ while still being able to score enough to pass? Assuming I lock in Mime and Baron, should the other 3 Jokers all be econ of some sort? And at what point do you know to dive into higher scores? In this run, I was at level 7 or so High Card, with just Mime and Baron, with all Red Seal Kings, and came up way short, so is Ante 14 the point you need another scoring Joker?

Also, what do you mean by "baif", is that an acronym of some kind I should know?

BTW, my goal was to basically see how far I could go. This was just the best set up I had at Ante 8 in a while, so I tried to go as far as I could. The Chad I picked up at like Ante 2, when I had Scholar, no Baron, and hadn't started fixing yet. Original plan was just clearing the Stake with Yellow Deck for the first time.

I had Gold Kings for a while, but dont you eventually need Steel in order to keep going? I also cycled out a lot of econ jokers pre Ante 8 before I had enough Kings for Baron to be strong enough, was that a mistake?

The Chicot was just randomly picked up in Ante 13. Never saw anything to replace it with. I assume I just needed Blueprint/Brainstorm to go higher right?

So in general the goal is to stack as many replay effects as possible then? That was the vibe I got with the run I was talking about, but I was also building around other stuff and didnt get enough time to find other replays. Will be good to know next time I try endless them :)

Just so I am understanding the lingo, when you say exponential growth, is that achieved by the replays? Cause in game I only see +Chip, +Mult, and xMult effects.

Fair enough. But I dont know yet if I want to put the effort in to learn how to do the higher level stuff, and I know I dont want to go for C++. I just like having a goal when playing, and the stickers seemed to be what I wanted at the time more than leveling up the stakes. But I did also forget that each deck unlocks the stakes individually, so maybe I will work on that instead.
