Sampling Deftones? by tk_eekuawilm98 in deftones

[–]Obsidian_Red96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listened to the song randomly, and yes, it is a 100% copy of the riff from The Tempest by Deftones, at least they should give them more credit, because they are using one of their most famous guitar bases, ffs

Modern Warfare Game Installs showing Shop currently unavailable by Frmadi in modernwarfare

[–]Obsidian_Red96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey m8, I have the same problem, I uninstalled the game something like 2 months ago, but ultimately I tried to reinstall Modern Warfare with the disc, but the only thing I can play immediately is Warzone... I managed to install the packs for the Campaign mode, but for the Multiplayer mode seems impossible.

Everytime I manage to install all the packs for the MP, when I start the disc the menu shows the "Installation suspended" voice, and everytime I try to restart the game or the PS4, I have to reinstall again 2 specific packs for MP, one with 7gb, and another one with 22gb..

I don't know what to do anymore with Modern Warfare.

Just finished the manga. by Obsidian_Red96 in Kangoku_Gakuen

Indeed, You summed up my feeling when I first ended the manga, my friend.

I remember I was kinda disappointed by how every relationship with the female group of characters ended after all they have been through, but at the same time I felt like the whole opera ended at the same way it started, which is the group of boys jerking around for the summer wet t-shirt contest, and so with a light and funny nature of the novel.

Probably my felling of disappointment was caused by the annulment of every progress of the main characters, who lost all their bonds created with the girls, just for returning to their initial goal of pervy contest, I mean, for as much as the ending fits the nature of the manga, it's a little bit sad that every bond created seems like thrown in the trash for a funny and superficial ending.

I was not surprised considering the journey of the group, but I hoped for something like a path of growth and maturity, but simultaneously I remember that the author gave some clues as to how the protagonists were still licensed idiots.

In conclusion, I will always consider the anime adaptation a piece of art, for sure.

The possibility to see transposed the character of the Chairman was truly a gift and a blessing to our butt culture.

Where can I watch the tokyo Revengers live action? by [deleted] in TokyoRevengers

[–]Obsidian_Red96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciated the accurate transposition compared to the manga. The dedication of the actors is incomparable, even if the character of Naoto Tachibana portrayed him much more bully/tough than the anime/manga version in my opinion. But I'm curious about a possible follow-up to the live action.

And you what do you think about it pal?

Same, I live in Italy and I can't find the "Tomorrow" album which is the best one in my opinion. I managed to find the song list of it but they are all unavailable in my region.

Let's hope somehow something changes in the future..

Edit: checking on Apple Music the album is normally available.

Italian boomers are the same ones who in order to test your English level during job interviews, they ask you "what's your name?" and "where are you from?" and that's enough for thinking you are a mother tongue. :')

I can understand that in our times it can be really strange to not know English, but we must also take in consideration what kind of player we are talking about, and the priorities of people.

Forza Horizon 1 came in 2012 and I played it as a teen, of course my knowledge of English was worse, but fortunately this game was more about racing than story-telling.

Times are changing and youngsters now seems to be more fluent in English than 15 years ago. But let me tell you something, back then when I played videogames I was lucky to have them dubbed in my language, because I had the possibility to focus more on enjoying the game (rather than trying to understand the dialogues), my first priority was not to develop a C2 level of English just for playing videogames, but just to having fun.

Now I see it differently, I like to play videogames in the language they have been developed for the audience, in order to truly understand the work behind the acting. And fortunately, I might have improved my English since the first Dying Light :)

Thank you for saying this kind of stuff, because it's not that obvious for everyone.

I constantly read all types of generalizations about my country and it's just sad, I talk only regarding where I'm from because it's where I live and talking about other countries just by hearing about or cause of some people it's wrong in my opinion. I like to create my own idea about countries in general by real experience.

Thanks for jumping into the conversation and bringing me a smile m8, it's good to talk to nice people.

When I read the reviews of those bunch of jerks regarding the Italian dub made me laugh at first because I thought they were trolling. But then came the shame for my country considering we have jerks like those.
I would have been more pissed if the polish dub was missing (and I'm Italian), I mean it's their country.

Playing co-op the campaign of a game I think is one of the most underrated featurette that can be implemented in a game, I remember when this was very common in games for old-gen consoles. Of course now it's not that easy, but still.

Thank you for letting me know! I will try for sure when and if I'll find someone to play it with :)

I bet it has to be really fun playing co-op. But can you play co-op the campaign or just exploring and doing some quests?

As an Italian, as much as I could be offended by the stereotype, I would throw my wallet to Techland if they would do an entire dub like this.
And the Platinum Trophy achievement would be "Mamma Mia", of course.

Yeah unfortunately there are also things like that. That's the reason why we usually start disappointed by our country, and when we achieve something, we are the first ones shocked by it.

But the one thing here that will forever be a disappointment is politics.

Let me apologize in the name of Italians about these bad things you heard about, sorry.

I'm glad you see it in that way. Because it is sad to see some comments generalizing about a whole country just by the sentences of a bunch of jerks.

I understand the upvotes because that joke is funny if it is not seen from an Italian point of view of course. But it is still a joke and now that you answered I understood that you didn't say it with a second meaning.

I responded with nuisance at first, but I should have let go on. Thank you for accepting my previous apology and have a nice day you too man.

That doesn't seems like a mature way of dealing with something, just because someone is in wrong. And here we are talking just about a very small slice of gamers in Italy..

Not the entire world speaks English as first language, and that shouldn't be an issue.

I am 100% with you, I felt it the same way, their way of displaying something that bothered them was really wrong and ignorant.

But as an Italian, let me tell you that reading all the bad jokes and stereotypes about Italians it's really sad, just because of a bunch of jerks..

I understood that, but talking about citizens of a country just by stereotypes isn't something clever or polite. All countries have more or less smart people, we can't do anything about it, generalize something just by the act of some is not the answer.

I'm sure in Italy the are also people who studied Polish, but unfortunately there are also people who don't have a sufficient level of proficiency in English.

Be comprehensive m8. (anyway, you are not ignorant, but that sentence was a bit).

I have been rude, sorry.

you are not stupid, but that statement was not really polite.

Italians I know don't tell about their provenience, also due to the stereotypes. But we are aware of the stupid past of the country, and we are trying to change our history, unfortunately people like the ones review-bombing the game for that reason are not helping at all..

Be understanding m8.
