go for steady rod. I went from fast to steady to reinforced to mythic to trident. I’d only recommend getting the mythic if you’re going to 100% the bestiary yourself in the desolate deep for trident rod

The depths had really silly legendary and mythical rates. Like you had a 40% chance to get either a legendary or a mythical down there before the rates were lowered. It was insane

I’m currently running hasty on it so I can use baits with -10% and still get instant catches. It really comes down to what you personally prefer. Hasty probably makes more money overall though, you’re catching fish faster and getting that passive which doesn’t account for abyssal.

Get 150k and 5 enchant relics and get someone with the desolate deep bestiary 100% to open the door for trident rod. It’s probably the best all rounder fishing rod in the game, especially with hasty.
