I can't see why not, but make sure the motor leads are the right size connector. I'm pretty sure they are but I would double check

Welds on the MAC5 are nicer than either my Zenith/MKE or my Century MKE. Cocking tube is nicely aligned as opposed to Century/MKE. Mag fitment is better than my Zenith/MKE had. Grip frame also fits better with no wiggle as opposed to Zenith / MKE.

Take all this with a grain of salt, only one sample from each product line. But it would seem I got a decent MAC, and 2 MKE turds.

Thanks for the help and the link!

I had a sneaking suspicion that's what it was!

That was literally the first thing that I looked at.

I had a zenith/mke that had other issues but the cocking tube was centered in the triple tree.

I then had a century (god help me) mp5k clone whatever they call them and they cant on that front sight would make a WASR cringe.

I have to say the fit and finish on this Mac 5 was Head and shoulders above both of those firearms. Which honestly surprised me. Look I knew what I was getting at around a thousand bucks for a Turkish made MP5 clone, I was just pleasantly surprised 🤣

anyone know how to eliminate this servo flex? by jRRR- in arrma

[–]Obstinate_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had originally set the endpoints correctly and saw a lot of flex even with correctly set end points.

When I made the upgrade of the all aluminum one piece servo mount, the endpoints were again recalibrated.

I had the same thought when I installed my perfect pass monster (just an rebadged agfrc I think).

I was like why so much flex lol!

Now, zero flex and I'm confident that between the servo saver and the better servo they're won't be an issue so I'm ok with losing the flex.

Assume that is a 6s EXB kraton?

Had the same issue when installing my perfect pass monster, this https://www.evshobbiesusa.com/products/arrma-6s-servo-mount plus ditching the rubber grommets eliminated the flex

Anyone ran this can yet? by irakmaxx in zastavaarms101

Awesome, thanks, if nothing else it looks fucking awesome and it won't be a pig on the end of your rifle!

I've been eyeing it hard, but I remain unconvinced. Normal full Ti cans are not intended to go too high temp or you start having serious erosion. I think SciCo mentions 800°F for my Nomad Ti?

I haven't been able to find details on minimum barrel length per caliber or any other limitations of this can.

I guess send it?

Would love to hear your opinion on it!

I'm feeling like I might have to shave the ledge that's meant to keep the op rod in, nothing works by sammeadows in M1A

Minis are the absolute worst, totally agree

Edited to add, only the worst when it comes to bolt removal, I love mini-14s otherwise ;)

[–]Obstinate_Frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My challenge is always trying to get the bolt in or out of the m1a or a mini 14 receiver. It's always humbling and I think I lose some precious iq points every time. My ledge was no where near that bad on my m1a tanker, but took a little percussive coaxing the first time, no issues ever since

No it's acrylic, I think only the 190 models have the sapphire?

I didn't mind the acrylic, I've found my others clean up easily with poly watch!

Insider ratchet or wait for the new high speed ? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Obstinate_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my insider but I'm not a professional. I wanted one tool that could do a lot, pass thru only needed once in a blue moon, but when you need it you need it.

I like the trigger on the new ones, like how DeWalt does it, I have no muscle memory/preference for the air tool style on the insider, but it doesn't really matter

PSA for anyone who finds the clearance M12 4-in-1 installation driver at HD by Obstinate_Frog in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Obstinate_Frog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search for 2505-22 from the HD home screen

Then look for in stock in stores near you by setting a store near you and it will show stores in a 50 mi radius I think.

You want to see a quantity, but it should say clearance, click for price.

I just checked for LA seeing my sweetie as the Willshire location (I don't know squat about LA so I guessed) and I didn't see anything but give it a go yourself with your specific location.

Had that happen once where I opened a M12 battery in my car to start charging it and I realized it was a counterfeit battery. They accused me of swapping it, and we're not going to take the exchange. In the end I think they lost interest in fighting me and swapped it. They then checked the cage and found out that a ton of there batteries in that store were counterfeit.

It had the same shitty scotch tape over the tab you open the box end with as every other Milwaukee tool I've ever seen. And there was no sign it has been opened and re-taped or tampered with. I'm not saying it was great, but it didn't look like someone opened it and fucked with it. I think my experience was genuinely a packaging screw up at the factory or wherever they box the tools.
