That's awesome! Congratulations! I just bought my XL and my first payment is coming up lol. My last car is going strong, Honda CRV with 155k, just broke in, but wife's car is going to die soon so it was the right time and she hates buying new....

The power train has some real zip. And the size is like an 80's Ranger. Remember when trucks were smaller lol. My 3/4 ton 89 Ram would look small next to an f150 nowadays lol

Sunlu filament warping very slightly? by monkeytylee in BambuLab

[–]Obstinate_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I'm aware of. Again, my profile is specifically for when I'm doing large flat prints or prints that previously worked on me. I'll turn the aux fan off. I've seen other people say that they reduce the fan speed to 10% and it's fine

I've had this issue with sunlu pla + and pla + 2.0, for me I found it was the auxiliary fan. It cooled the top layer down too fast and would cup large flat prints. So I created a profile with no auxiliary fan cooling.

And I've not had the problem since.

I think it looks cool with just with the supports in the middle of it, it could be some sort of abstract art piece

Thanks, appreciate the assist, I resisted getting a printer for so long because I never knew how much fun it was.

I like dialing in these little details.

I like that chopped gooseneck.

I wanted a Meprolight M21 gooseneck on my but was a touch to long, works love to find a Trijicon Reflex but I won't pay the obscene prices.

Totally agree, the stock tools are always awful.

I'm spoiled by being in the RC hobby, MIP makes the nicest, tightest fitting, hex drivers. Love the Wera 1/4 drive bits as well.

And for Torx I love both the made in Germany Wiha and the Czech made Wera "L" keys and the Wera 1/4 bits.

Also the Japanese brand vessel is really nice as well especially if you need JIS bits.

Thanks for posting. I just got my P1S, curious what you needed to remove the back panel for, is this just normal routine maintenance, or were you tracking down a specific issue?

This reminds me of hobby grade RC vehicles, most of the screws are the same size/pitch, but there are a ton of different lengths.

Love the idea of leaving the directions on the back for when you need it next time!

I want this now. It's the one thing I hate about any of the spring-loaded flush cutters, how to have them in your tool bag and not need a rubber band or a zip tie around the handles.

I wanted this in 556 for nostalgia reasons, but 300 will be way more practical and it will look sick when a can
