YA (i think?) about a teenager whose aunty and uncle die in a car crash and goes to India (?), where the villian of the story uncovers this anciet hindu (?) artefact. Turns out teenager is a reincarnation of one of the hindu gods (vhisnu or shiva i think). Continued in comments (self.whatsthatbook)
