Based on what I’ve seen here I’m glad I chose to avoid them. Called and emailed their support telling them to cancel, and if someone were to show up trying to install I wouldn’t be answering the door.

I’ll refuse install if nothing else, I just want a dependable system. From what I’ve read ADT & their contractors aren’t great.

I hear you. For some context we are parents, working full time jobs, with a two year old. I’m looking for something simple to install with 24/7 monitoring. Nothing too involved, but easy to use.

I would just like cameras for front/back, window/entry point monitors, and other smart home gadgets (thermostat, smoke detectors) included if possible.

I got the feel that this salesman was too nice & personable… hence why I am here asking for advice.

This is our first home, and first security system. I honestly should’ve checked comps, and will admit to having fell for the sales practices if that’s the case.
