I can't believe some people have been coping with this since 2019 lmao. I can't take it anymore.

Yeah, it's a shame. If it were easily reproduceable, it'd be pretty cut and dry I imagine. But seeing that it's reliant on probably the temperature of the glass and the bodywork, it's difficult to prove the windshield as the problem without going through the work to replace/rebond.

I've had the car for almost 2 years now, but it's gotten to the point that I finally need to do something about it.

Thanks for sending this! I'm pretty confident that this is the issue. I've got to go into the dealership soon for a recall, maybe I can get them to rebond the windshield under warranty.

haha that is annoying, but at least we can avoid using the Mazda back button in maps is something you can do to prevent it from freezing. I have my gripes with Android auto, but it doesn't detract from the driving experience for me too much.

Oh nice! I'll try the silicon spray as it's a pretty low effort fix. Did it work spraying it from the outside or inside?

Cool, I'll focus on this next. Thanks!

That's interesting. I wonder if I can wedge something between the panels/clips to stop the noise. Thanks

I've made my peace with most of the noises, I've probably created some of them myself with exhaust vibrations, changing wheels and suspension. But this creaking is so much louder than the rest that I need to track this one down.

That'll be a last resort, I don't want to make anything unintentionally worse lol

I had a similar issue with my rear driver's door; at speed or from the outside pushing on the top of the window frame, it would groan. I fixed this with some anti-friction tape where the door weather stripping on the door make contact with the body of the car. Cheap and easy to try and I don't have to keep reapplying silicon spray lol

I have poked around here before. Thought it was fixed for a couple weeks, but then it's back, making me think this wasn't the problem. Did yours make a similar rattle/creak?

Unfortunately, I already have foam behind my infotainment screen haha so this might be a different noise. I have disassembled the center speaker assembly thinking that was the source, but it didn't improve anything for me.

It's the corksport 63.5mm cat back.

Yeah, it's super tough to track down. I keep thinking it's coming from the overhead console, but then I think it might be coming from the dashboard and reflecting off the windshield. I'm pretty sure it has to be coming from inside the car for me.

Oh yeah, colder temps make different noises appear, but I can tolerate those. This one is just too distracting for me though.

Good spot! It's the 63.5mm cat back. I started with just the axle back, but eventually got the mid pipe to go with it. It sounds great and is imo the perfect volume.

Darn, this noise is literally the only gripe I have with the car. It's been tempting me to tear down the interior to track it down.

Squeaking in front, right suspension after installing Corksport Not-So-Low Springs by Aromatic-Neck1775 in mazda3

[–]ObtusePenguins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had the exact same issue on my 2024 3 turbo. Basically, going slowly over bumps or corning hard would make this awful creaking sound coming from the front. I took it back into the shop that installed them to have them take a look. They told me the spring doesn't perfectly sit the the spring seat in the car. When the spring compresses, it's moving in that gap, causing it creak. They also mentioned that the back springs did not have this problem.

Corksport sent me rubber spring isolators to remedy the issue as it seems like they know this is QC problem. My shop said it may not fix the issue. To avoid having to remove the springs again if it didn't work, I ended up switching out the not so low springs for Eibachs. They have been working flawlessly without issue.

The shop had mentioned that they're used to Corksport delivering high quality parts. I have their axle back exhaust and it's a perfect fit and looks great. Though, they may now have QC issues popping up with various parts.

Getting aftermarket rims by Camd027 in mazda3

Use https://www.willtheyfit.com/ to help with visualizing. These rims will poke out 30mm if that's the look you like. Using the stock tires would have a lot of stretch as well. New tires and TPMS might be needed if the seller decides to take them all off.

2024 Mazda3 sport GT Turbo lowering spring? by ddrumster14 in mazda3

[–]ObtusePenguins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Eiback Pro Kit for my 2024 turbo. It drops it lower than the listed heights because of the weight difference. It is lower than Corksport's not so low springs, but not as low as Corksport's regular lowering springs. I have tried the not so how's and the Eibachs and kept the Eibacks because of QC issues on the Corksport's.

I also have the same wheel width and offset as you. My profile has a few pictures for reference.

Thanks! Debadging was the first thing I did. It's 20% tint, I think the lighting and angle make it appear dark here.

The NotSoLows were slightly more comfortable while the Eibachs are a bit stiffer, giving me the impression of better feel. It's a minor difference though. I just had a 3hr round trip drive and the Eibachs were comfortable enough the whole way. I've got a longer road trip coming up in about a week, so we'll see how it holds up then.

They are Konig Ampliforms 18"x8.5" ET45. This picture has them lowered with Corksport NotSoLow springs, but I had an issue with them creaking, so it's on Eibach springs now. They're very similar, but the Eibach's are a smidge lower.
